• Bowling Green will play its second Big Ten opponent of the season on Saturday, Sept. 16. BGSU opened the 2017 season at Michigan State on Sept. 2.
• The Falcons are 2-0 in the all-time series with Northwestern, earning dramatic wins in 2001 and 2003.
• The 2001 contest was played in Evanston, while the 2003 game took place in Detroit for the Motor City Bowl.
• BGSU is 3-3 against Big Ten opponents dating back to 2014, earning wins over Indiana, Maryland and Purdue.
