Kettering, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University Men's Golf team wrapped up play at the Dayton Flyer Invitational finishing in seventh place out of 12 schools. Davidson finished on top with a team score of 861 followed by a tie for second between Illinois State and host school Dayton with a score of 881.

The Falcons progressively improved over the two-day period shooting a team score of 303 in Round 1, 294 in Round 2 and 284 in Round 3. Overall the Falcons finished with a team score of 881.

Pablo Heredia Iglesias was once again at the top of the Falcons' leaderboard, finishing T10 with a score of +3. Noah Firestone was steady throughout the whole tournament for the Falcons finishing T23 with a score of +8. Freshman Curtis Hughes played as the individual and finished T30 with a score of +9.

Nick Hofland and Rodrigue Vie both finished T38 for the tournament finishing with a score of +10. Trey Walker finished +13 for the Falcons finishing T48.

Pablo had another great event. He did a very good job staying patient and trusting his plan for the event. I am happy we led the field and moved up in the final round, finishing strong is something we've done well most of the season. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to overcome a poor first round and finish toward the top. We will address a few things in our preparation to make sure we get the most out of our last tournament and finish the season strong.
