Wiggins Earns Preseason All-MAC Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Demajeo Wiggins, a senior on the Bowling Green State University men's basketball team, was named to the MAC's Preseason All-Conference Team, the league office announced Tuesday (Oct. 30) morning. The conference separated the honors into a five-player East Division team, and a five-player West Division team.
Along with Wiggins, the East Division team consisted of forward Nick Perkins from Buffalo, along with guards C.J. Massinburg (Buffalo), Jeremy Harris (Buffalo) and Jaylin Walker (Kent State).
Wiggins was a Second Team All-MAC selection in 2017-18, as he averaged 13.7 points and a team-high 10.1 rebounds. He was one of just two players in the MAC last year, along with Eastern Michigan's James Thompson IV, to have averaged a double-double. Wiggins posted 17 double-doubles as a junior.
By averaging 10.1 rebounds, the Toledo native was the first Falcon since 1974-75 to finish a season averaging over 10.0 rebounds per contest. Heading into his senior year, Wiggins leads the active roster in games played (95) and starts (70).
