Falcon Tennis Face Cleveland State, Akron, And Connecticut In Viking Invitational

The Bowling Green State University tennis program will be in Cleveland for the Viking Invitational in which they face hosts Cleveland State, Akron, and Connecticut. The Viking Invitational will take place from Friday, Oct. 5 to Sunday, Oct. 7. A doubles and singles champions will be named at the end of the Vikings Invitational; the honorees will be determined by a point system set in place that also considers lineup position.

Five rounds of doubles, and three rounds of singles will played in the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion that was built in 2016. The MMTP features a seasonal dome, spectator viewing areas, heat, air and insulation; a proper venue for year-round tennis play.

Two rounds of doubles will be played on Friday and Saturday, the fifth and final round will be played on Sunday. One round of singles will be played each day throughout the invitational.

The Falcons enter this weekend's invitational after a dominant performance in the Detroit Invitational. The team won 27 of the 28 matches at stake.
