Falcons Get Ready For Play At The THP Mountaineer Invitational

Morgantown, W.Va. – The BGSU Men's Golf team will continue its 2018 fall campaign playing in the Health Plan Mountaineer Invitational on Oct. 8-9. The Falcons will be playing at the Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport, West Virginia, which is a par-72, 7,308-yard course.
The Falcons last played at the Sam Hall Intercollegiate last month where they finished in fourth place with a score of +3. Pablo Heredia Iglesias was the top finisher for the Falcons, finishing T-4 with a score of -3. Trey Walker and Max Rispler also had top-25 finishes with Walker finishing T-13 shooting an even score and Rispler finishing T-24 with a score of +3. Rodrigue Vie finished and Noah Firestone both finished T-50 with a score of +8.
The Falcons will look to defend their title, as Bowling Green carded an 864 to finish in first of 16 schools last October.

Playing Field:
· The Falcons are one of 14 teams that will be competing this weekend along with West Virginia (host), Rutgers, James Madison, Akron, Boston College, Seton Hall, Winthrop, Davidson, St. John's, Eastern Kentucky, Ohio, Georgetown and Marshall.
· The tournament will include 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. There will be an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start followed by a starting tee time of 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
