BGSU Swimmers Face Xavier in Non-Conference Meet

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- The Bowling Green State University swimming and diving program will be in Cincinnati on Friday, Nov. 2 to compete in a swim meet versus the Xavier Musketeers. Bowling Green's sixth competitive meet will take place in the O'Connor Sports Center, with the first event is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m.

Over the weekend, the Falcons defeated Ball State in their first conference meet of the 2018-19 season. Falcon swimmers and divers placed first in 14 of 16 events, for a final score of 206-94 in favor of the Orange and Brown.

Xavier's swimming program, in the 2018-19 season, has one win, two losses, placed fifth at the Akron invitational, tied versus West Virginia and Seton Hall in a double-dual meet, and tied again last Saturday versus Cleveland State.
COACH PERKINS PREVIEWS FRIDAY'S MEET
"I think it will be a good meet. Xavier is a good team and I am sure they are ready for us. This last week, we have pushed really hard in training. We are a little tired and sore but we will be ready to compete on Friday."
