Falcons to Offer Team Camp on Jan. 13

The Bowling Green State University softball team will host a Winter Team Camp on Sunday, Jan. 13, at Perry Fieldhouse on the BGSU Campus. The camp offers a three-game guarantee to teams within the 14u and 16u age groups.

Game format will follow NCAA Rules and Regulations with an 80-minute drop-dead time limit. The BGSU Softball staff and players will provide on-field instruction relating to game management and strategy with participating teams. Instruction and interaction will also be geared towards enhancing the fundamental skill sets of participating athletes and coaches.

Space for this camp is limited, so interested teams/coaches should contact BGSU Assistant Coach Katie Reiff as soon as possible at kreiff@bgsu.edu.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- The camp will be capped at five teams.
- Checks can be made payable to "BGSU Softball" and turned in the day of camp.
- Coaches will be responsible for providing a team roster prior to the camp. Players will also need to fill out a medical release form and liability form prior to participation. The forms can be accessed through the team's head coach or manager once the registration process is complete.
- BGSU Softball will provide balls, nets, and tees for warm-up, as well as game balls for each game. Each team will be responsible for bringing their own personal game day needed equipment. Tennis shoes must be worn at all times inside Perry Fieldhouse. Helmets must also be worn at all times during use of the batting cages.
- Players are responsible for providing their own personal equipment.
- The schedule will provide teams with lunch and dinner breaks.
