LaMarcus Hicks Returning To BGSU Football Coaching Staff

Bowling Green, Ohio – LaMarcus Hicks, who coached Bowling Green's secondary in 2018, will return to the Falcons as part of Scot Loeffler's coaching staff for the 2019 season. Hicks joins seven other coaches (as announced yesterday) on Loeffler's initial staff.

LOEFFLER ANNOUNCES THE HIRING OF EIGHT COACHES
Hicks becomes the third coach to be retained by the Falcons, joining defensive coordinator Carl Pelini and defensive assistant Jacob Schoonover. Schoonover coached the linebackers in 2018 and will fill a defensive coaching role on the staff in 2019.
Loeffler also announced five new members of the on-field coaching staff and a new strength and conditioning coach. Terry Malone (Offensive coordinator/offensive line), Chris Hedden (running backs), Erik Campbell (wide receivers), Max Warner (quarterbacks), Louie Addazio (tight ends) and Kevin Tolbert (strength and conditioning) all join Loeffler at Bowling Green.
Combined, the eight on-field assistant coaches and Loeffler boast 181 years of coaching experience (an average of 20.1 years each), including 137 years in college coaching. Of those 137 years, 63 were spent at "Power 5" institutions and 32 years come in the Mid-American Conference.
