MUNCIE, Ind. – Ball State hit a three-pointer with 1.3 seconds left to earn a 59-56 win over the Bowling Green State University men's basketball team. Bowling Green falls to 14-10 (5-6 MAC) on the season following the defeat.
Prior to the dagger triple, sophomore Dylan Frye's three-point attempt with 11 seconds left went about as far through the hoop as possible without it falling. The Cardinals grabbed the rebound, and then Tayler Persons connected from well beyond the long line to give BSU the win.

• Bowling Green posted more second-chance points (11-4) and bench points (14-5).
• The Falcons won the battle on the glass by a 40-37 margin. Bowling Green has recorded 40-plus rebounds in nine games in 2017-18.
