Columbus, Ohio – BGSU Men's Golf concluded day one of the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate in Columbus, Ohio. The Falcons played one full round and play was suspended midway through round two and will continue tomorrow. The tournament will conclude with the third and final round Sunday afternoon. The Falcons sit in 15^th place out of 16 teams partially through round two. BG carded 302, +18 in round one and are currently +17 in the second round. Leading the field is Illinois with +3 partially through round two. Just above Bowling Green is MAC competitor Ball State.

Kontak leads the Falcons with +6 on the day owning three birdies and shot five holes under par.
Vie shot a team leading four birdies on the day.
Both Vie and Walker shot even for four straight holes, Vie in round two and Walker in round one.
Heredia Iglesias holds three birdies for the Falcons on the day.

FROM COACH POWERS
"We showed some signs of rust today getting back into competition. The course has a very small margins, but will always reward a well executed shot. We still have a good chance to move up the leaderboard during the final round."

The Falcons will start the day tomorrow with an 8:30 a.m. shot gun start. The Robert Kepler Intercollegiate will conclude Sunday with round three following the conclusion of round two.
