Falcons Head To Fort Wayne For MAC Championships

Fort Wayne, Indiana – Bowling Green Men's Golf will conclude the season as they compete in the Mid-American Conference Championships in Fort Wayne, Indiana Friday through Sunday. The three-day event is hosted by Ball State and held at the Sycamore Hills Golf Club. The tournament will consist of four rounds, two Friday with tee times beginning at 8:30 a.m. and one round each Saturday and Sunday with tee times starting at 8 a.m.

"Even though our tournament schedule has been disrupted this spring with the weather, we have dealt with a lot of situations that have prepared us for this challenge. Everything the guys have been through during the last three months has made them tougher and ready to compete in the championships."
FALCONS AT THE MAC CHAMPIONSHIPS
BG has taken the MAC title five times along with three individual championships. Last season the Falcons carded a team score of 1201 to finish ninth.
FALCON LINEUP
The Falcon Lineup will consist of Mitchell Kontak, Rodrigue Vie, Trey Walker, Nick Hofland and Pablo Heredia Iglesias. Kontak looks to finish his senior season strong as he has been climbing to the top of the Falcon pack throughout the year.
