BG competitors go a combined 11-2 on day one of BGSU Invitational
The Bowling Green State University tennis team kicked off the 2018-19 season in successful fashion, going a combined 11-2 on day one of the BGSUÂ Invitational. Friday's (Sept. 14) action, for the most part, was held at Keefe Courts on the BGSUÂ campus.
The two-day, five-team tournament is the first of three fall invitationals for the Falcons. BGSU is joined by Ashland, Detroit Mercy, Tiffin and Toledo in this weekend's tourney.
QUOTING COACH DALMACIO
"We stepped on the court with a lot of motivation to start the season, and we were very happy for the chance to play at our home ground and set the tone. We're looking forward to the semis and finals tomorrow!"
