BGSU Athletics To Offer Free Tickets To Furloughed Government Employees

The Bowling Green State University Department of Athletics is pleased to offer free admission to all home athletics events for federal employees who have been furloughed due to the government shutdown. The offer is valid for any regular-season event, based on availability, and will last until the end of the government shutdown.
Federal employees who present their valid government ID at the BGSU Ticket Office will receive complimentary admission for themselves and one guest. The offer is only available the day of the event and must be redeemed in person at the BGSU Ticket Office at the event venue. Each furloughed employee will also receive a voucher for a free popcorn and soft drink.
The offer is available immediately, including tonight's BGSU hockey game against Ferris State at Slater Family Ice Arena.
