NOTE OF THE NIGHT: OFFENSIVE OUTPUT
• The Falcons' offensive output on Thursday night set or tied numerous records...

• The previous BGSU record for most goals in a conference road match was set last year, as the Falcons defeated Buffalo, 5-0, in Western New York (Oct. 21, 2018).
• BG tied the school record for most goals in a half, scoring five times in the second half on Thursday night. It marked the highest output in a half in a MAC match in school history.
• The Falcons had scored five goals in a half on four occasions, all between 1997 and 2001. BG turned the trick three times vs. Youngstown State (including twice in the same match, a 10-1 win on Oct. 3, 2001) and once vs. Robert Morris.
• Thursday marked the first time in school history that BGSU scored five goals in a half on the road.
BONUS NOTE OF THE NIGHT: AN EMPHATIC RESPONSE
• BGSU has a record of 20-2-1 against MAC opponents (in both regular-season and tournament matches) since the start of the 2018 season.
• Following each of those two losses, the Falcons have bounced back in a big way. In games after a MAC loss in the last two years, BG is now 2-0-0, and the Falcons have outscored opponents, 12-0.
• Last year, BG's lone loss in 14 matches against the MAC came at Akron (1-0; Oct. 18, 2018). Three days later, the Falcons went to Buffalo and picked up a 5-0 win, clinching the MAC regular-season title in the process.

• Senior Hannah Dolfuss scored the third goal of her career in Thursday's win. All three have come this season, and in fact, all three have come this month. Dolfuss also found the net in MAC wins against Ohio (Oct. 6) and Miami (Oct. 18).
• Dolfuss scored the first game-winning goal of her career on Thursday night.
• On Thursday, Allen became the 10th different player to score a goal this season, while Dolfuss became the eighth different Falcon with a GWG.
• Senior Kathleen Duwve picked up the 28th victory of her BGSU career, moving her past Alexa Arsenault (27 wins from 2007-10) into sole possession of third place in school history. Duwve ranks fifth or higher on all of BGSU's career goalkeeping lists.
• Duwve has a goals-against average of 1.15 this season, and a GAA of just 0.76 in MAC matches.
• Fellow senior 'keeper Monica Florez made her first appearance of 2019, playing the final 20:59 between the posts. Florez has now played in two career matches and has a GAA of 0.00.
• Sophomore Zoe Hudson picked up the first point of her career with an assist on BG's sixth goal of the night. And, fellow soph Ruby Linton had her first career point with an assist on BG's seventh goal.
• Hudson and Linton become the 15th and 16th players, respectively, to score at least one point this season to date.
• Senior Maureen Kennedy tied her career high with two assists at NIU. It marked the fourth multiple-assist game of her Falcon career.
• Kennedy now has 31 career assists, and is just two shy of the school record. Julie Trundle (33 from 2002-05) holds that record.
• Kennedy now has 61 career points at BGSU. She is sixth on that school list.
• Kennedy, one of 10 national finalists for the Senior CLASS Award, has had at least one point in seven of the last eight matches, with 12 points (three goals and six assists) in that time.
• Sophomore Mackenzie Reuber picked up an assist on Dolfuss's goal that opened the scoring. For Reuber, it was her third assist this season and the fourth of her career.
• Reuber now has three career game-winning assists, including two this fall.
• Fellow soph Lynsey Spotts scored her second goal of the season and the second of her career. She has five points as a Falcon, with all five coming in 2019.
• Senior Chelsee Washington had her third three-point night of the season. She now has eight career matches of three points or more.
• Washington scored the 18th goal of her BGSU career in the NIU match, moving her into a tie for ninth place in school history.
• She picked up her 21st career assist, and is now tied for fifth in BG history on that list. And, with 57 career points, Washington is now tied for seventh on that school chart.
• Washington has scored at least one point in five of the last six games, and has a total of 11 points in that time.
• Freshman Kennedy White scored her seventh goal of the season. She is tied with Nikki Cox for the team lead in that department.
• Cox, as mentioned earlier, leads the Falcons with 18 points this season. while Kennedy and Washington each have 17 and White 16.
• The 2019 season marks only the third time in school history that four Falcons have scored 15 or more points. On each of the other two occasions, that BG team won the MAC championship. Both the 2005 team (Samantha Meister 22, Britt Anderson 17, Julie Trundle 16 and Corbie Yee 15) and the 2018 squad (Erica Hubert 36, Washington 27, Kennedy 20 and Nikki Cox 19) had a quartet of 15-point scorers.
• For the first time since August 30, freshman Audrey Shea spent time on the BG bench. Shea was injured in the Xavier match (Aug. 25) and missed the Valparaiso contest five days later. She returned to the starting lineup for the Dayton match of Sept. 5, and was on the field for every second of 13-straight matches. She played the first 70 minutes of Thursday's win at NIU before being subbed out of the contest.
WHAT'S NEXT?
• The Falcons return to the road for a Sunday (Oct. 27) match at Western Michigan. BGSU will meet the Broncos in a 1:00 p.m. start at the WMU Soccer Complex.
• Then, BG will wrap up regular-season play with a contest at Toledo next Thursday (Oct. 31). That match will begin at 3:00 p.m. in the Glass City.
• The Falcons, as mentioned, have clinched a home game in the quarterfinal round of the MAC Tournament, and will meet an opponent to be determined on Sunday, Nov. 3, at Cochrane Stadium.
