Tavpash Picks Up Career Singles Win No. 50 During Day One Of Buffalo Indoor Invite

Buffalo, N.Y. - The Bowling Green State University tennis program began day one of three at the Buffalo Indoor Invite by facing off with Rutgers in both singles and doubles play. The Scarlet Knights would take the win over the Falcons by a score of 6-1 with the Falcons capturing one singles point while seeing two singles matches go to three sets with another needing extra points in the second set. Bowling Green will be back in action tomorrow in Buffalo, this time facing Cleveland State with the warmups beginning at 4 p.m.

- Sasaki, a fellow senior, nearly won her singles match after taking the first set. The second set would be decided by just two points with the third set falling the way of Rutgers' Sydney Kaplan.Â
