Falcon Stat Facts

 Coach Ty Eigner's Take
- "Winning last night was a great thing and we knew that Minnesota State was going to come back tonight and play really well, which they did. We give up the power play goal early and then Alec Rauhauser makes a really good play to get the shorthanded goal. Then you're down 2-1 just like last night but you're playing better…the second period has some back and forth, and some chances for both teams, but it's a really good hockey game at 2-1. Halfway through third, we were playing well and they scored a goal that was a hardworking, meat and potatoes goal. That's the kind of goal we were hoping to score, keeping pucks on the net. Ultimately, I don't think it was a 5-1 game, since it was a 2-1 game with basically 10 minutes left in the third period. All-in-all, I thought our guys did a really good job (in the series) against a really good team in really tough environment."
- On Alec Rauahuser's play so far this year, "He's been really good, really consistent. I think he was one of our better players all weekend long. Like I said earlier in the week, we are going to find out against a really good team in Minnesota State which players are right now to win games against teams like them, and Alec was certainly one of those guys."
