Cecil, McMillen Earn All-MAC Accolades

Conference awards announced on Tuesday morning
A pair of Bowling Green State University women's basketball standouts have earned accolades from the Mid-American Conference. Junior Andrea Cecil was named to the All-MAC Third Team, while first-year Falcon Morgan McMillen was chosen to the MAC's All-Freshman Team.

Cecil, a native of Oak Harbor, Ohio (Oak Harbor), led the Falcons in scoring, with 15.8 points per game, and finished second on the team with 5.9 rebounds per outing. She had 20 or more points on 11 occasions in 2018-19, and led the Falcons with seven double-doubles. Cecil hit 55 three-point field goals and shot better than 40 percent from the arc. She entered the week ranked 12th in the nation in free-throw percentage.
In MAC games, Cecil averaged 15.8 points and 6.1 rebounds per outing. After scoring a team-high 17 points on Monday night (March 11) at Kent State, she has 891 career points through three seasons in a BG uniform.
McMillen, a native of Berlin, Ohio (Hiland), finished second on the Falcons in scoring, with 13.1 points per game. She scored 393 points in her first season, the fourth-highest total by a freshman in school history. McMillen made 89 three-point field goals, ranking second on the school's all-time list. She was just three triples away from tying the school record. She entered the week ranked among the nation's top 25 in three-pointers made per game, and she hit at least four triples on 14 occasions this season.
The Falcons of head coach Robyn Fralick finished the season with a 9-21 record. BG loses just two seniors off of the 2018-19 roster.
