Tennis Inks Tsadari to National Letter Of Intent
March 28, 2019 | Women's Tennis
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University women's tennis program and head coach Stephanie Dalmacio have announced the signing of Ioanna Tsadari to a National Letter of Intent. Tsadari of Petroupolis, Athens will join the tennis program as a freshman for the 2019-20 season.
"I'm very happy Ioanna chose BGSU to continue to grow as a player and person," said Dalmacio. "She has a lot of determination and fight. I can't wait to welcome her to campus!"
Tsadari is the daughter of Dionisios and Panagiota Tsadaris and is undecided on what her major at Bowling Green will be. Tsadaris will graduate from Nea Genia Ziridi in June of 2019 and has an older sister, Konstantina.
"I chose BGSU because it felt like home even though I never had the chance to visit the campus," said Tsadari. "People already feel like family."
The Falcons' tennis team will be back in action on Friday (March 28) at 1 p.m. at the Perrysburg Tennis Center as they take on Northern Illinois. The team will enter with a 7-8 record, including an 0-2 standing within the MAC. The match with NIU will the be first of two matches over the weekend with BGSU traveling to Ball State on Sunday.
