Blackburn, Cox, Fahey And Madry Named Academic All-MAC
June 03, 2019 | Women's Golf
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference has announced that four Bowling Green State University women's golf student-athletes have been named to the 2019 Academic All-MAC Team. The announcement was made on Monday afternoon (June 3).
Four Falcons – Sammi Blackburn, Nichole Cox, Erin Fahey and Jessica Madry – earned the recognition. Bowling Green has placed at least four student-athletes on the MAC's Academic All-MAC team for the fifth-straight season.
Of the 38 total student-athletes recognized, only one – BGSU's own Jessica Madry – maintains a perfect 4.000 cumulative GPA. Madry has been named Academic All-MAC in back-to-back seasons, while Fahey is a three-time honoree. Blackburn and Cox were eligible for the first time in 2018-19.
Fahey joins Fran Rodriguez as the only players in program history to be named Academic All-MAC a total of three times.
