Making Of The Matches
- The day began with doubles play that saw the Fighting Irish capture the point. In both first and third doubles, the Falcons kept pace with Notre Dame, but the early lead for the Fighting Irish proved to be too much as Bowling Green fell short 6-2 in both.
- As for second doubles, the Falcon duo of Tsadari and Kapitanova battled to take a 3-1 lead, but a surge by the Irish granted them four straight points to move the score in their favor, 5-3. Bowling Green then claimed a fourth point, but Notre Dame answered to take the set.
- In the first set, Kapitanova jumped out to a 3-0 lead, but Notre Dame fought back to tie it up and send the set to extra points. Kapitanova was still able to capture the first set to claim the 1-0 advantage. She was able to roll that momentum into the second set as well to take a 6-2 victory and claim the point for the Falcons.
- Beginning the second match of the day in double play, Tavpash and Bettinelli came away with a victory, but Notre Dame still was able to claim the doubles point.
