Each week, the BGSU Strategic Communications Department breaks down the week ahead in athletics and recaps the week gone by. Listed below are all games over the course of the next seven days with links and information for fans. Following that info are recaps, scores and links from games over the past week.
THE WEEK AHEAD
FOOTBALL (0-2, 0-2 MAC)

BGSU Football plays its home opener Tuesday night as the Falcons host Kent State at 7:30 pm for a game televised on ESPN2. BGSU leads the all-time series between the two programs 60-21-6, but Kent State has won each of the past two meetings. The Golden Flashes are looking to improve to 2-0 for the first time since 1988, while Bowling Green will look to bounce back from a season-opening loss to Toledo in the Battle of I-75.
CROSS COUNTRY
Saturday, Nov. 21 hosting MAC Championships, 2:00 pm

Two weeks after hosting the Falcon Invitational, the BGSU men's and women's cross country teams are set to compete in the MAC Championships Saturday afternoon. Distances will remain the same for the men and women at 8k and 6k, respectively, at the BGXC course. The women will begin at 2:00 pm and the men will get underway shortly after at 3:00 pm. Kailee Perry will look to continue her string of outstanding performances this weekend after coming away victorious two weeks prior. Eastern Michigan will be aiming to win the conference championships for the sixth consecutive year on the women's side, with the men searching for their 10th title in 11 years.

BGSU Hockey will be back on the ice this weekend as they take to the road for the first time during the 2020-21 campaign. The Falcons will head north for the second leg of a home-and-home series against Adrian College, set for a 7:05 p.m. puck drop. After winning the first game of the season, also against Adrian, by a score of 6-2, the Orange and Brown will be seeking a 2-0 start for the second time over the last three seasons. Entering the season having never faced each other, the game on Saturday will mark just the second meeting all-time between Bowling Green and Adrian.Â
