Falcons Head To Ohio For Thanksgiving Weekend Clash

• Bowling Green heads on the road to face Ohio Saturday at noon on ESPN+. The Falcons will play after having 11 days off since facing Buffalo, while the Bobcats will have had 18 days between games due to cancelation of their Nov. 17 contest.

• This will be the 72nd meeting between the two programs all-time with Bowling Green holding a 40-29-2 edge. Ohio, though, has won each of the past four meetings, including last year's 66-24 victory.

• Prior to Ohio's current four-game win streak in the series (in which the Bobcats have outscored BGSU 193-92), the Falcons had won four straight in the series, outscoring Ohio 168-51.

• Bowling Green last won in Athens in 2014, a 31-13 victory, on the way to making its second of three straight appearances in the MAC Championship game. The Falcons won the MAC championship in 2013 and 2015.

• BGSU and Ohio games tend to be blowouts. Even though the two teams have split the last eight meetings, only one of those contests has been decided by single digits. Four of those contests (two wins each way) have been decided by 35+ points.
