Men’s Basketball Inks Ubong Etim To National Letter Of Intent

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team and head coach Michael Huger have announced the signing of Ubong Etim (Richmond, Calif. / North Little Rock) to a National Letter of Intent. The program announced his signing on Wednesday, Dec. 2. Etim will enter the program as a freshman prior to the 2021-22 season.

BIO: Letterwinner for coach Johnny Rice at North Little Rock H.S. in Arkansas … Maintains a wingspan over 7-0 … Played on a North Little Rock team as a junior that Max Preps ranked as a Top-100 team in the nation … Led NLR to a 22-5 season and conference championship as a junior in 2019-20 … Honors Student and recipient of the 4.0 Achievement Award … Will lead a Charging WildCats team as a senior tabbed as a preseason "Super Six" squad as one of the top teams in Arkansas … Averaged north of 10 points, nine rebounds and three blocks in most-recent AAU season … Played AAU basketball with Arkansas All-Red and Team Thad EYBL … Named most-improved freshman at Salesian College Prep in 2018 … Favorite athlete is Kobe Bryant … Has two older sisters, Ima and Ani ...
