"We are excited about this week's MAC championship meet. The championship meet is a celebration of all the hard choices that each student-athlete made throughout the season to get to this opportunity of representing BGSU at the conference level. The team has trained extremely hard, they have given a lot of themselves to the goal of being one of the best teams in the conference. We have high hopes but understand that we can only control ourselves and what we want to control is our efforts, our emotions, and our energy."

- Talisa Lemke broke her own school diving records on three occasions this season. At the Cleveland State Magnus Cup, she won the 1 meter and 3 meter dive, setting the school records in the preliminary round. In the Battle of I-75, she scored 346.80 on the 1 meter board to set a new program record. The senior has qualified for the NCAA Diving Zones for the fourth consecutive season, and she will be joined by sophomore Kylie Mosset for the second straight year.
- Also breaking a school record at the Magnus Cup was Daisy Platts. The sophomore raced the 200-yard individual medley in 1:59.64, winning the event and setting a new program record. Platts currently holds four of the program's top 10 times in the 200 IM.
- The Falcons had three student-athletes earn a place on the podium last year, with all three returning this year. Daisy Platts won the 200-yard backstroke and placed third in the 100-yard backstroke. Joining her on the 100-yard backstroke podium was Lauren Sullivan, who finished eighth. Talisa Lemke won both diving events last season, scoring 307.20 on the 1 meter board and 341.35 on the 3 meter board.
- There are several current Falcons who earned "B" Finalist status at last year's MAC Championships. Returning "B" Finalists are Maddy Andrews (500 free), Daisy Platts (200 IM), Anna Eriksson (50 free, 100 fly), Sarah Hennings (100 fly), and Kellie House (1650 free).
