Falcons Gear Up For Tournament In South Carolina

Men's golf begins tournament in South Carolina with a deep field of teams
Bluffton, S.C. – The BGSU men's golf team will once again hit the road to take part in the Colleton River Collegiate hosted by Michigan State University in Bluffton, South Carolina. The field of teams will be among the deepest the Falcons will see all season with ten teams ranked inside the top 100 teams in the country according to Golfstat. Three MAC foes will also be competing in Kent State, Miami (Ohio) and Eastern Michigan.Â
The Orange and Brown played in the event last year. BGSU is coming off of a 13th-place finish at the Border Olympics last week in Laredo, Texas. Â

Field:Â Bowling Green is one of 15 taking part in this event along with Michigan State, Cincinnati, Eastern Michigan, Georgia Southern, Iowa, Iowa State, Kent State, Kansas State, Memphis, Miami, Notre Dame, Oakland, Ohio State and Rutgers.

Bowling Green will travel to Phoenix, Arizona to take part in the GCU Invitational. The tournament is being hosted by Grand Canyon University on March 13 and 14. This will be fourth event on the spring slate for the Falcons.
