Bowling Green, Ohio -- For a week, we asked our fans to vote for their favorite student-athletes of the past 20 years. Beginning this week, we will reveal one selection at a time each weekday over a five-week stretch. Today, we highlight your No. 23 pick for the top student-athlete of the past 20 years, football's all-time rushing yards leader, Travis Greene!
23. Travis Greene (2011 - 2015)

Bowling Green's all-time career rushing leader with 3,852 yards, Travis Greene played a pivotal role in the success of the Falcons' offense.

Greene set the school record for rushing yards in a season in 2013 with 1,594, surpassing Fred Durig's record of 1,444 all the way back in 1951. He is one of three football players in the history of the football program to rush for over 1,000 yards in two different seasons, joining the exclusive club in 2015. He also earned first team All-MAC for his performance.

Greene's dominance on the ground was especially prevalent in the biggest games, as he rushed for over 100 yards and at least one touchdown in each of the three MAC Championships games he played in. His career-high 183 rushing yards and two touchdowns in the Falcons' MAC Championship victory in 2015 earned him the MAC East MVP. He also rushed for a touchdown against Georgia Southern in the GoDaddy Bowl a few weeks later.

In the Falcons' win over South Alabama in the Camellia Bowl in 2014, Green had two touchdowns. His 1,749 all-purpose yards in 2013 are the second most in school history for a single season.
