McCoy Takes Nine-Game Hitting Streak into Akron Series

Sammy Dees hit .500 at BSU last weekend
• Sammy Dees hit a team-leading .500 in last weekend's four-game series at Ball State. Her six hits included a homer, and she also led the Falcons with five RBI in Muncie.
• Madi McCoy enters the Akron series with a nine-game hitting streak. She has hit an even .500 in that time, with 14 hits in 28 at-bats, and has reached base in 12 consecutive games.
• McCoy now has seven multiple-hit games this season to date, ranking second on the team. Greta L'Esperance leads the Falcons with eight, including the team's lone four-hit game so far this spring. L'Esperance and McCoy are in a virtual tie for the team lead in hitting, as both players have a .361 batting average.
• McCoy leads the team in runs scored (17) and RBI (15), while L'Esperance has scored 16 times. Maycee Godbolt has 11 RBI to rank second on the team, and she leads the Falcons in RBI per at-bat.
