Women’s Golf Ranked Top-15 Nationally For Team GPA In 2020-21

Bowling Green has now finished a season in the Top 25 for team GPA a total of four times under head coach Stephanie Young. Furthermore, the Falcons have earned the recognition in three of the last five seasons. BGSU ranked No. 11 in 2006-07, No. 15 in 2016-17 and No. 23 in 2018-19.
The women's golf program continues to set a high standard for academics. BGSU led the MAC with six student-athletes being selected to the 2021 Academic All-MAC Team. Dani Austinson, Sammi Blackburn, Nichole Cox, Kayla Davis, Erin Korn and Aly Kovach earned the honor for the Orange and Brown. The six selections are the second-most in school history for Bowling Green and most since the 2014-15 campaign. Additionally -- all six student-athletes and freshman Emily Pantig-Nystrom -- earned recognition as WGCA All-American Scholars.
