October 21, 2025 | Women's Golf
MANHATTAN, Kans. — The BGSU women's golf team competed at the Powercat Invitational this week, hosted by Kansas State. The Falcons put on another impressive display, as they shot a 923 and finished fifth in the tournament. The Powercat was held at Colbert Hills in Manhattan, Kans., a par 72 course with a total yardage of 6,446.
"The team battled some tough conditions on a demanding course. We showed flashes of some really solid golf but struggled when conditions became tougher." Said head coach Erin Fahey.
"I am proud of them for fighting until the end. Shoutout to Addison Kartusch for her top 10 finish this week. She has been a leader for us on and off the course all fall!"
Addison Kartusch led the way again for the Falcons, as she shot a 227(+11) and finished tied for ninth individually. Also leading the way for the Falcons was Ava O'Sullivan, who fired a 232 (+16) and finished tied for 17th. The Powercat marks the Falcons final tournament for the fall season, a season which saw them finish in the top five of each of their tournaments and finish first at the A-Ga-Ming Invitational hosted by Central Michigan.
"Overall, we had a successful fall season with a victory and three other top 5 finishes. We are looking forward to a little break here, but then we will get back to work quickly to improve during the offseason." coach Fahey said.
