Falcons Begin Home Portion of Schedule in 25th Year of BGSU Women's Soccer

Falcon fans encouraged to bring their four-legged friends to Sunday's home opener
The Bowling Green State University women's soccer team opens the home portion of the 2021 schedule on Sunday afternoon (Aug. 29). The Falcons host Oakland University in a 2:00 p.m. start, and it will be Dog Day at Cochrane Stadium.
Admission is free to all BGSU home soccer regular-season matches.
The 2021 season is the 25th year of women's soccer. Various events and promotions commemorating the teams, players and coaches from the first quarter century of the program will take place throughout the home schedule. There will be various stories and social media posts and events all season long.
One of the highlights of the 2021 schedule will be a BGSU Women's Soccer Reunion on Oct. 10, when the Falcons take on Miami. It will also be Senior Day at Cochrane Stadium, and BGSU women's soccer alums are invited back to be recognized at the match and during the weekend as well.

Sunday, as mentioned, is Dog Day at Cochrane. Falcon fans are encouraged to bring their four-legged friends to the match, as there will be promotions and giveaways guaranteed to excite both human and canine fans of the Falcons. The first 60 dogs in attendance will receive a treat bag, and fans can enter their faithful companions in a drawing to win a bigger prize at halftime.
