ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Bowling Green indoor track and field team participated in its fourth meet of the season on Saturday (Jan. 22) at the Michigan Invitational.
Zaresha Neal (shot put) and Brianna Richard (triple jump) highlight the BGSU performers. Neal won her third-straight competition at the shot put with a distance of 15.94m, while Richard beat all collegiate competitors in the triple jump with a PR distance of 12.62m. Her jump was second only to professional Tori Franklin, who was participating for Nike/New York Athletic Club.
Throws
• Neal wins her third shot put event of the indoor season with her season-best toss of 15.94m.
• Katie Seyfang had a personal record in the weight throw (16.42m).
Jumps
• Brianna Richard had a personal record in the triple jump (12.62m) and it was the longest triple jump by a Falcon since 1998 (Huina Han)
• Alexis Parchman had a personal record in the long jump (5.32m).
Runners
• Darian Braddix had a personal record in the 400 (58.93).
