Bowling Green Hosts Miami (OH) For an Orange-Out on Saturday Afternoon

Falcons and RedHawks To Meet Saturday
• Bowling Green State University continues MAC play on Saturday at Doyt Perry Stadium when the Falcons welcome the Miami RedHawks to town.
• Saturday's game is Kory Lichtensteiger Bobblehead Day. BGSU will also honor its seniors before the game since Saturday is the final weekend home game of the 2022 season.
• It is the 76th meeting between the Falcons and the RedHawks and the first time these teams have met at Doyt Perry Stadium since 2018.
• The game is an "Orange-Out" at Doyt Perry Stadium.
• The game will kick at 12 p.m. and be broadcast live on ESPN+.

• Bowling Green continues Mid-American Conference action on Saturday when the Falcons welcome the RedHawks to Doyt Perry Stadium for the first time since 2018.

• TE Christian Sims is No. 8 in the nation among tight ends with 4.0 receptions per game.
• WR Odieu Hiliare has a catch in 28-straight games, which includes his career at Alabama A&M. It is tied for the 16th-best active streak in the nation. The Alabama A&M transfer has 122 career receptions for 1,618 career receiving yards and 17 receiving touchdowns.
Broden on the Verge of a career Receiving Mark
• WR Tyrone Broden needs 109 receiving yards to become the 40th Falcon all-time to notch 1,000 career receiving yards in program history.
• Broden currently has 891 career receiving yards. He looks to become the first Faclon to reach the plateau since current Buffalo Bills tight end Quintin Morris reached the mark in 2019.
Bacon Sizzling for BGSU
• S Chris Bacon leads BGSU with 42 tackles, which ranks No. 3 in the MAC among defensive backs. He is also No. 21 in the nation among defensive backs in tackles.
• Bacon transferred to BGSU as a grad transfer from Georgia State.
McDonald In the National Rankings
• QB Matt McDonald is No. 1 in the MAC and tied for No. 17 in the nation with 14 passing touchdowns. His 19.2 points responsible per game ranks No. 1 in the MAC and No. 11 in the nation. Three of his passing touchdowns have come in overtime.
• McDonald in his fourth game played this season (at Akron) has already passed his 2021 output of 12 passing touchdowns.
• ILB JB Brown has jumped onto the scene in 2022.
• Brown is tied for No. 3 in the nation with two fumbles forced.
• He is fifth on the team with both 28 tackles and third with 3.0 tackles for loss.
Hiliare on Fourth Down
• WR Odieu Hiliare is tied for No. 10 in the nation with two receptions on fourth down.
• Both his catches went for a first down and one went for 25 yards, which is tied for the nation's lead in 25-yard+ catches on fourth down.
