• Bowling Green has won four of its last five trips to Kelly/Shorts Stadium in games dating back to 2002.
• Saturday is the 43rd all-time meeting between Bowling Green and Central Michigan. The Falcons lead the all-time series with the Chippewas, 23-19.

• Since 2000, Bowling Green is 3-0 against CMU when the Falcons accumulate 400+ yards of total offense.
• Since 2000, Bowling Green is 3-1 against CMU when the Falcons win the turnover battle. They are 2-2 when they don't. And are 0-0 when the turnovers are the same.
Five Top Storylines
• The Falcons have 14-different players that have recorded at least one full sack this season, which is the most in the nation.Â
• DL Karl Brooks and OLB Demetrius Hardamon have a combined nine sacks between them. That is the same or more than 19 other FBS programs have as a team. Both Brooks and Hardamon boast 4.5 sacks individually.Â
• DL Brooks is one of three players in the nation with 25+ tackles, 9+ TFLs, 4.5+ sacks, 2+ pass breakups and at least one fumble recovery. Michigan State's Jacoby Windmon and Liberty's Durrell Johnson are the others.
• Bowling Green has recovered nine fumbles, which ranks No. 2 in the nation. The Falcons are tied with Coastal Carolina and trail only Duke (10).
• WR Odieu Hiliare has a catch in 29-straight games, which includes his career at Alabama A&M. It is tied for the 16th-best active streak in the nation. The Alabama A&M transfer has 124 career receptions for 1,635 career receiving yards and 17 receiving touchdowns.
Bowling GreeN's Defense Was Stout Against Miami (OH)
• BGSU held Miami (OH) to 189 yards of total offense. It is just the 10th time since 2000 (second time this season, vs. Cincinnati) that the RedHawks were held under 190 yards of total offense.Â
• BGSU held Miami (OH) under 200 yards of total offense, which is the third time the Falcons have done that to an opponent under Scot Loeffler. It was the first time since the 2019 Akron game. Bowling Green under Loeffler is 3-0 in those games.Â
• Bowling Green allowed Miami (OH) to just 10 first downs. BGSU is 4-0 under Scot Loeffler when the opponent has 10 or fewer first downs.
Rushing Game Steps Up against The RedHawks
• Bowling Green rushed for 176 yards against Miami (OH), which is the most the RedHawks have given up all year. The RedHawks entered the game No. 9 in the nation in rush defense, allowing 88.8 rushing yards per game.
• WR Tyrone Broden needs 67 receiving yards to become the 40th Falcon all-time to notch 1,000 career receiving yards in program history.
• Broden currently has 933 career receiving yards. He looks to become the first Faclon to reach the plateau since current Buffalo Bills tight end Quintin Morris reached the mark in 2019.
BGSU Has Two Other 1,000-Yard Receiver
• With Broden on the verge of 1,000 career receiving yards, he would join two other Falcons that have already reached that milestone.
• WR CJ Lewis has 76 career receptions for 1,107 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.
• WR Odieu Hiliare has 124 career receptions for 1,635 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns.
• Lewis (Boston College) and Hiliare (Alabama A&M) both joined BGSU this year.
Bacon Sizzling for BGSU
• S Chris Bacon leads BGSU with 45 tackles, which ranks No. 6 in the MAC among defensive backs. He is also No. 42 in the nation among defensive backs in tackles.
• Bacon transferred to BGSU as a grad transfer from Georgia State.
