BGSU Men's Hoops Releases MAC Preseason Polls, Promotion Themes For 2022-23 Season

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced the 2022-23 conference preseason polls on Wednesday morning (Oct. 26). In the preseason polls, the Falcons were selected to finish ninth in the MAC. Full details can be found below. Additionally, the Bowling Green State University men's basketball program revealed the promotional themes for the upcoming season of Falcon men's hoops.

The Falcons will open the 2022-23 season at home against Air Force on Nov. 7 with Heroes Day. Free tickets will be available to military, police, firefighters and medical staff for the game. The second promotion of the season will come on Nov. 29 against Queens as BGSU hosts Video Game Night.

Promotions will resume in the month of December with three promotions on the schedule. Dec. 3 against Morgan State will be Retirees Day, including a special ticket offer for BGSU retirees. Dec. 17 against UT Martin is slated to be Holiday themed with a Toys for Tots drive. The month of December will round out on Dec. 19 against Fairmont State with the School Day Game.

The MAC schedule in January will bring with it four new promotions to the Stroh Center. The first will be Faith & Family Night on Jan. 7 against Ohio followed by a White Out against Akron on Jan. 10. The Falcons will host Miami (OH) on Jan. 21 for Coaches v. Cancer. The month of January will conclude with Dollar Night against Ball State on Jan. 31, featuring $1 tickets, parking and concessions.

The promotional schedule will come to a close with a jam-packed month of February. The first will be the annual Eracism Game, set for Feb. 4 against Northern Illinois. The Orange and Brown will then hold Date Night on Feb. 14 with a Buy One Ticket, Get One Free deal, perfect for a Valentine's Day night out.

The February schedule will continue on Feb. 18 for the Battle of I-75, which will include an Orange Out and Mascot Reveal while also being the 2022-23 Bill Frack Game. Next up for the Falcons will be Senior Night against Kent State on Feb. 25 before rounding out the promotional schedule on Feb. 28 against Eastern Michigan with Rocky Night.
