Poppe Picks Up Singles Win As Falcons Close Weekend In Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons tennis team finished the weekend with a win and a loss, dropping today's match to Youngstown State by a score of 6-1. YSU swept the doubles matches to earn that point, then took five of the six singles matches. Maru Poppe notched a singles win for the Falcons, making her the fifth BGSU player to earn a singles win on the weekend. The Falcons are 2-4 on the season with five matches remaining on the non-conference slate.
