BGSU Logs Best Team Score Of The Spring At Missouri Tiger Invitational

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Bowling Green State University men's golf team concluded play at the Missouri Tiger Invitational on Tuesday (April 12), playing the final round of the tournament. The Falcons posted a team score of 300 for the day, giving BGSU a cumulative 894 for the invitational, the best event score for the Falcons during the spring portion of their schedule.
Individually, Tom North and Connor Gdovin led the way with both shooting just one over par on the day, bringing two scores of 73 back to the clubhouse. Darin Hudak wasn't far behind with a 74. Hudak has now recorded his best round in the final round of each tournament he has competed in this year.
As a team, the Falcons logged the fourth-most pars in the field with 163. Only Missouri State (172), SUI Edwardsville (165) and Austin Peay State (164) had more. The success for Bowling Green came on par threes, being tied for sixth in the field of 17 at +14, and on par fives, being one of seven teams to score even or better, coming in right at even.
The good fortune on par threes was spearheaded by Ian Mackenzie-Olson who tied for the best overall score on par threes, being even on such holes for the three rounds. Gdovin had similar success at +1. Gdovin also tied for second in the field for total pars, logging 38 over the two rounds.
