Bowling Green Lands 22 Falcons on the Academic All-MAC Team

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced the 2021-22 Swim and Dive Academic All-MAC Team today. A total of 127 student-athletes were named to this year's group including 22 Falcons.
For seniors Anna Eriksson, Kellie House, Kylie Mosset, and Daisy Platts this is the third time in their collegiate careers that they have been named to the Academic-All MAC Team.
Platts and House were also selected respectively to the First and Second All-MAC Teams. At MAC Championships Platts won the 100 Backstroke and finished 2nd and 3rd in the 200 Backstroke and 200 IM before heading to NCAA Championships. Meanwhile, House finished 2nd in the 1650 Freestyle and 4th in the 500 Freestyle at this year's MAC Championships.
Sophomores Rayah Blood and Livia Castro were two of only thirteen on the Academic All-MAC Team to maintain a perfect 4.0 GPA.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in both athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for their respective sport.
