BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Junior tight end Levi Gazarek joins Bowling Green football's official podcast as the Falcons have just concluded spring practice.
"Fly with Us" is available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify (search Fly With Us). BGSU's assistant athletics director for strategic communications Vincent Briedis conducts in-depth interviews as fans can get to know various members of the 2022 Falcons.
Gazarek is one of 13 FBS players this spring that are also currently playing college baseball. He speaks of the grind of going from spring football to class to baseball practice. Gazarek started 10 games for the Falcons in 2021 and is the second-most used relief pitcher coming out of the pen for BGSU baseball head coach Kyle Hallock.
"When I came back in January after winter break I did the whole offseason lifting program with the football team," said Gazarek. "After our 8-week program was over we had our first baseball game of the season that weekend, so the timing kind of worked out perfect making the transition from football to baseball this spring."
