Bowling Green Gymnastics Heads to CMU on Friday Night for a MAC Meet

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green gymnastics team returns to action on Friday evening as the Falcons travel to Mount Pleasant, Mich., to face the Central Michigan Chippewas in Mid-American Conference action. The meet will start at 7 p.m. at McGuirk Arena.

• Western Michigan is No. 42 according to Road to Nationals, while BGSU is No. 56.
• Bowling Green is ranked No. 45 on bars, No. 53 on beam and No. 57 on both vault and No. 58 on floor.

ALL-TIME SERIES
• BGSU has dropped five in a row to CMU and the all-time record against the Chippewas stands 38-16 in favor of CMU. BGSU's last win against CMU was in 2018 at Anderson Arena.
CENTRAL MICHIGAN
• CMU opened its season at New Hampshire's tri-meet where they placed second out of three teams. CMU topped Temple and lost to host New Hampshire by .375 points.
• Last time out, CMU topped NIU in the Chippewas' MAC opener (195.425-193.600).
LAST WEEK
• Bowling Green had its best score in a home opener (195.050), but it wasn't enough as Western Michigan edged the Falcons with a score of 195.925.
• Isabella Rivelli's 9.90 on bars was the sixth-best score in program history and won the event.
• Kathryn Weilbacher notched a career-high 9.90 on vault which is tied for No. 7 all-time in BGSU history.
• Weilbacher's 39.275 in the all-around was also a career high.
• BGSU's 195.050 was its best score since the Ohio State tri-meet last year (195.700).
