Falcons Host Lakers In Slater Family Ice Arena

Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons (1-5-0, 0-0-0 CCHA) are returning to Slater Family Ice Arena when they host the Mercyhurst Lakers (0-3-2, 0-0-2 AHA) in a two game home-series. Friday will serve as Youth Hockey Night and Saturday will serve as Future Falcon Kid's Club Day and Star Wars Night. Following the game on Saturday, the Falcon Hockey team will be signing autographs. The series starts on Friday, Nov. 3, when the teams face off at 7:07 p.m. at Slater Family Ice Arena. The action continues Saturday, Nov. 4, puck drop set for 7:07p.m.

Mercyhurst enters the series with a 0-3-2, 0-0-2 (AHA) record. The Lakers are looking for their first win of the year this weekend, which would also be Coach Rick Gotkin's 600th career win. Phillip Waugh leads the Lakers in goals and points (3-2-5) while Dustin Geregach and Garrett Dahm lead the team with three assist. Goaltender Owen Say, holds a .922 save percentage and has 165 saves on the year.
