
Bowling Green Falls To Lake Superior State In OT Thriller

SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - The Bowling Green Falcons (3-9-0, 1-3-0 CCHA) fell to the Lake Superior State Lakers (6-6-0, 3-3-0 CCHA) in overtime on Saturday night in Taffy Abel Arena. Junior Forward, Ryan O'Hara tallied his fourth multi-point game while Owen Ozar and Brody Waters added one a piece.

Game one will be on Friday, November 24th at 7:07 p.m. and will serve as Dollar Night. Scoring Plays
- Brody Waters tallied the first goal of the night at 14:28 in the first period on a power-play. Kersten received a pass from Eric Parker in the left face-off circle, facing the Lakers goaltender, and shot the puck hitting off of Brody Waters for the goal.Â
- Regan Milburn responded soon after at 13:18 in the first period. Milburn took the puck himself through two Falcons and right past Moore to tie the game up at one.
- Owen Ozar regained the lead for the Falcons at 12:20 in the first period. Ozar received a pass from Ryan O'Hara behind the goal and redirected the puck past the Lakers goaltender.
- Carter Batchelder tied the game back up thirty seconds into the second period. Batchelder was part of a three-way passing game leading into Falcon territory, Batchelder tapped a shot past Moore, from a fellow Laker.
- Jared Westcott scored the third goal for the Lakers at .29 seconds left in the second period. Westcott received a pass across the ice and had a one-time swing at the puck to gain the first lead for the Lakers.
- Ryan O'Hara scored the third goal for the Falcons (3Q, 3:58) that ultimately sent the game into overtime. O'Hara took the puck down to the Lakers goal line and shot it with little to no angle and sent it past the goaltender.
- Jared Westcott called game at 4:30 in overtime. After the Falcons had a failed attempt to end the game, the puck was sent down the ice to a Laker with an open path to Moore sending it to the back of the net.
- Ryan O'Hara scored one goal and one assist on the night being his fourth multi-point game of the year. O'Hara now tallies eight goals and four assists on the season, leading the Falcons.
- Owen Ozar scored his second goal in the Orange and Brown and third career goal, while Brody Waters scored his fourth career goal.
