Falcons Travel To Bemidji For CCHA Meeting

BEMIDJI, Minnesota- Bowling Green Falcons (7-11-0, 5-5-0 CCHA) are set to continue CCHA play when they travel to Bemidji, Minnesota to face Bemidji State (6-10-0, 5-5-0 CCHA) in Sanford Arena. The series starts on Thursday, December 14th at 8:07 p.m. EST/7:07 p.m. CT. The action continues Friday, December 15th, puck drop set for 8:07 p.m. EST/ 7:07 p.m. CT. The Falcons are coming off a series sweep against the Ferris State Bulldogs, that lifted them to sixth in the CCHA standings with 15 points. While Bemidji State had a scoring frenzy last weekend with Lake Superior State, splitting the CCHA series earning three points and sitting at fourth in the CCHA standings.

Opponent Outlook
Bemidji State is coming off a series split against conference member Lake Superior State. The Beavers met the Lakers for the second time this season in a home series. Bemidji took the first game 7-1 on Friday December, 8 while Lake Superior State took the second game on Saturday, December 9, 6-1. Both teams are looking for their second CCHA sweep of the season, the Beavers having their first against St. Thomas and the Falcons having theirs last weekend against Ferris State.
The Beavers are .469 overall and .550 in CCHA play. Lleyton Roed leads the team in goals with eight while Kyle Looft leads in assist (13) and points (18). Goaltender Gavin Enright has a 5-8-0 record, with a save percentage of .862 and a goals against average of 3.44. Another goaltender that has seen some time in the net for the Beavers is Raythan Robbins who has a save percentage of .800 and a goals against average of 5.38.

- Freshmen goaltender, Cole Moore was named the CCHA Goaltender of the week on Monday afternoon (Dec. 10). Moore has seen success in the goal for the Orange and Brown, recording a .917 save percentage through 12 games and 2.68 goals against average. Moore had a shut-out performance on Friday, December 8 in Slater Family Ice Arena saving the 39 shots that he faced.
