Bowling Green Drops Thursday Contest To Bemidji

BEMIDJI, Minnesota - The Bowling Green Falcons (7-12-0, 5-6-0 CCHA) fell to the Bemidji State Beavers (7-10-0, 6-5-0) in a Thursday, CCHA showdown. The Beavers tallied a goal in each period to end the night with three CCHA points. Pasanen saw his first goal in the Orange and Brown and sixth career goal. Goaltender, Cole Moore had 43 saves on the night which is a season high.

Scoring Plays
- Logan Acheson scored the first goal of the night at 7:22 in the first period. Acheson shot right below the blue line that found its way through traffic and past Moore.
- Carter Jones responded to put the Beavers up at 8:10 in the second period. Jones found the puck off a rebound and pushed it past Moore on the doorstep, for a 2-0 lead.
- Tommy Pasanen scored the lone Falcons goal at 2:36 in the third period. Pasanen found the puck in the middle of the face-off circles, off a rebound and shot it in the top right corner to make the score 2-1.
- Eric Martin scored the final goal of the night at 33.3 second in the third period. Martin shot at an empty-net late in the third for power-play goal.
- Tommy Pasanen scored his first goal in the Orange and Brown and sixth career goal. Pasanen now has four points as a Falcon (1g,3a) and 16 career points (5g, 11a).
- Seth Fyten and Brandon Santa Juana both assisted the Pasanen goal. Fyten recording his first assist of the season and third of his career. While Brandon Santa Juana had his fourth assist of his career,
- Cole Moore recorded 43 saves which is a single-game season high. Moore breaking the Falcons season high that was set by the goaltender earlier in the season at Western Michigan (10/21).
