Falcons Finish Regular Season With Strong Showing at Silverston Invitational

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Bowling Green Falcons closed the 2023 indoor regular season with another strong weekend, collecting more PRs and season-bests at the Silverston Invitational on Friday (Feb. 17). Katerina Shuble had a PR in the 800 at 2:14.16, which places her fifth in program history. Also etching their names in the record book were Izzy Best and Raegan Burkey, who now rank fifth and sixth in school history in the 600. Zaresha Neal won the shot put with a mark of 55-0.00 (16.76m), which is 13^th in school history. Kami Baker (shot put), Katherine Mendenhall (60 hurdles), Tianna Mulligan (400), and Alexis Parchman (200) each had a PR, while Riley Robertson ran a season-best in the mile.

Katerina Shuble recorded a PR in the 800, placing fifth in 2:14.16. This time is seventh in school history, with only four other individuals running a faster time.
Katherine Mendenhall had a PR in the 60 hurdles, finishing in 9.32 seconds. This is her third PR of the season, with the previous two coming at the Akron Invite (Pentathlon and Shot Put).
Tianna Mulligan PR'd in the 400 for the second time this season, recording a time of 58.12.
Kami Baker threw a PR of 42-4.00 (12.90m) in the shot put.
Alexis Parchman had a PR in the 200, placing sixth with a time of 25.43.
Parchman ran the 60 in 7.86 seconds, just 0.01 shy of her season-best. She placed ninth, missing the final qualifying spot by only 0.003 seconds.
Zaresha Neal's shot put mark of 55-0.00 (16.76m) is 13^th in program history. The senior has five of the top 15 and eight of the top 20 shot put marks in school history.
Izzy Best (1:37.35) and Raegan Burkey (1:38.72) made their debuts in the 600, placing third and fourth. Best's time ranks fifth in school history and Burkey's time ranks sixth.
Riley Robertson ran a season-best 5:36.23 in the mile.
