Coach Snelling's Outlook
"The first day can be an emotional roller coaster for everybody involved. I feel we weathered it pretty well. We bookended the day well. We had good momentum in the pentathlon early, particular the hurdles right out of the box, and finishing the day by winning the DMR is huge. Overall, we did what we thought we would do from a point total perspective. We are a little ahead as far as getting people to finals from what we had on paper.  All in all, a pretty solid day."
