Scoring Plays
- Scardina opened the scoring with under five to play in the first, just seconds after the power play expired. He tipped in a shot from Zach Vinnell, who was fed by Austen Swankler.
- Andre Ghantous tied it in the second, going nearly the length of the ice after securing the puck out of the faceoff. He went top-shelf for his first goal of the night.
- It only took 15 seconds for the Falcons to tie it, with Nathan Burke giving them the lead. Dalton Norris dumped it to the corner, where Alex Barber collected it to feed a crashing Burke for the score.
- Less than two minutes into the game, David Keefer tied it again. He knocked in a close-range shot after Alex Fyre intercepted a pass and skated around the net.
- Keefer gave the Wildcats the lead near the midpoint of the final frame, scoring during a 4-on-4 session. Michael Collela dropped a pass to Keefer, who split a pair of defenders before netting the game-winner.
- Ghantous capped the weekend with his second goal of the night. The Falcons pulled the goalie and added a skater, then had an open look at the net in the closing seconds. The shot rang off the post, then was picked up shortly after by Ghantous for the empty net goal.
- Nathan Burke scored his 17th goal of the year, marking his 33rd as a Falcon. He has 27 points this season and 50 in his BGSU career.
- Ethan Scardina netted his 11th goal of the year, putting him at 16 points. He has 17 goals and 30 points in his career.
