Falcons Fall to Rockets on Sunday

Fonseca tallies team-best 11th singles win, Tsadari and Saraty notch team-best eighth doubles win
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons (6-11, 0-5 MAC) dropped Sunday's (April 2) Battle of I-75 to the No. 63 Toledo Rockets (14-3, 5-0 MAC) by a score of 6-1. The Falcons picked up a win at No. 6 singles, with Leticia Fonseca notching her team-best 11th singles win of the spring. The freshman has a 9-3 record when playing at No. 6. In doubles, the duo of Ioanna Tsadari and Eloise Saraty won at No. 1, the duo's eighth win of the spring. Both players have 13 doubles wins this season, sharing the team lead. The seniors also have the most combined wins on the season, with Saraty totaling 24 and Tsadari compiling 21.
