BGSU Gymnastics Recognized by WCGA for Academic Excellence

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University gymnastics team was one of 54 teams in the country to earn recognition by the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) by posting a team grade point average of 3.50 or better for the 2022-23 academic year.
"I am incredible proud of our student-athletes commitment to academic success," said BGSU head coach Kerrie Turner. "This achievement represents the culture of our program and making academics and progress toward graduation the priority. I am so excited for our student-athletes that have worked so diligently to achieve high standard in the classroom."
Bowling Green earned a 3.5884 team grade point average and had 18 student-athletes with a 3.50 GPA or better. BGSU student-athletes that earned WCGA Scholastic All-America status are Lauren Bannister, Megan Bingham, Kaylie Bokey, Lexi Bornhorn, Charniya Brown, Elise Brzoska, Emily Castiglia, Madison Coburn, Riece Crooks, Megan Decious, Katelyn Goldstrom, Lily Harsch, Taylor Jensen, Kennady Kreinbrink, Baylie Lawrence, Courtney Morrison, Isabella Rivelli, and Dahlia Solorzano-Caruso.
Bannister, Harsch, Jensen, Kreinbrink and Rivelli all sport a 4.0 GPA to lead the way for the Falcons.
