Falcons Travel To Ypsilanti For Bob Parks Memorial Meet

Ypsilanti, Michigan— The Bowling Green track and field team will take the road for the first time this season, competing in the Bob Parks Memorial Meet on Saturday, January 20. Field events are set to begin at 10:00 a.m. while track events will begin at 1:00 p.m. The meet will be held in the Bowen Field House.

Breaking Down Bowling Green
The Falcons competed in their second indoor meet of the season on Friday, January 12 in Perry Field House. Bowling Green hosted the Early Bird Open and six Falcons recorded personal records while two found themselves on the BGSU indoor records list. Eight Falcons also finished in first, in their respected events.
Katherine Mendenhall tied her personal record in the high jump with a 5'7" mark. Kylee Cubbison came in second in the mile, recording a personal record at 4:54.66 and Regina Rose recorded a 10:25.75 in the 3,000 recording a PR. Tianna Mulligan found her way onto the all-time record list, for the second time this season, with a 39.35 mark in the 300 which is now second all-time. Raegan Emberton tied her PR in the weight throw, with a 55' 2.25" mark and Bianca Staples recorded a PR with a 8.08 time in the 60 dash.

The Falcons will continue their indoor season when travel to University Park, Pennsylvania for the Penn State National Open. The meet will run from Friday, January 26 to Saturday, January 27 in the Multi-Sport Facility & Horace Ashenfelter III Indoor Track. Be sure to visit BGSUFalcons.com.
