Falcons Tennis Opens Spring Schedule

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio- The Bowling Green Falcons open the 2024 portion of the season with a pair of non-conference matches against the Dayton Flyers Saturday, January 20. The Falcons will face the Flyers in the South Regency Tennis Center at 4:00 p.m. On Sunday, January 21 the Falcons will face University of Northwestern Ohio in Westwood Tennis and Fitness Center at 2:00 p.m.Â
Breaking Down Bowling GreenÂ
The Falcons competed in two invitationals in the fall (BG invite and IUPUI Fall Invitational) and concluded with ITA Regionals. The four seniors Lucy Furness, Hannah Neuman, Ioanna Tsadari and Eloise Saraty represented the Orange and Brown. Lucy Furness and Hannah Neuman both won their first singles match in the qualifying round. While Eloise Saraty and Ioanna Tsadari won their doubles mach in the qualifying round.Â
New additions to the Falcons Tennis team competed in IUPUI Fall Invitational, overall posting a 9-2 record in singles and 10-4 record in singles. The Falcons opened the 2023-24 season with the BGSU Invitational where they competed in a Dynamic Duo tournament.Â

The Falcons will continue their non-conference competition when they host Western Illinois University in Perrysburg Tennis Center on Saturday, January 27 at 2:30 p.m.Â
